Our Causes...and Why
Our causes are carefully chosen. In all cases, we have witnessed firsthand the valuable impact that these have or will have on their communities. We are proud to benefit our chosen causes by raising both the public's awareness of and the funds necessary to perform their outreach.
Each season, we also choose a focus project based on criteria set and reviewed by our board of directors. Choosing different causes and projects each season enables us to serve a variety of needs in the community.
Health & Healing
Our passion is sharing music.
We serve the community with a multi faceted approach mutually benefiting everyone involved to enhance quality of life.
The list of ways we have brought music to our community is vast and is growing.
It includes supporting and raising awareness for Veteran projects, supporting fundraising for individuals, creating open mic opportunities, organizing local farmer's market music talent, collaborating for Car /Truck shows, music festivals and hosting music at the local holiday community dinners in Wallingford.
In 2013 we created the "Imagine It" Music Opportunity Fund and have provided piano lessons to an eligible applicant, supported local school and community theater projects and open mics.
As of Spring 2016, we now produce the local public access TV show 'Music With Purpose' at WPAA-TV in Wallingford, CT. The tv shows showcase original music artists and all kinds of music modalities including information about how music can be healing and increase health and wellbeing. The show is in a setting that creates a free, family friendly live studio audience experience and content for the station to air.

Our Second Season
Fundraising for Fisher House CT
The Fisher House Foundation builds and maintains long term residential facilities near military hospitals nationwide. The families of seriously injured soldiers need a place to stay during the long rehabilitation process. This vital need is not covered by any other resource. Currently there are 54 Fisher Houses nationwide. Since 1990 they have provided services to over 142,000 military families who have stayed more than 3.6 million days supporting their soldier during rehabilitation. Fisher Houses have saved these families more than $167 million in lodging and transportation costs. The facilities are supported by contributions and openings are granted in reverse order of rank, so that the lower enlisted soldiers have first chance at housing. Underwritten by The Creed Law Firm, LLC, this organization has promised to raise $3 million for the construction of a Fisher House on the campus of the VA Healthcare System in West Haven, CT. Once the goal is reached, Fisher House Foundation Inc. will match th funds for a total of $6 million and construction can begin. Our Third Season We Created ... "Imagine It" ~ A Music Opportunity Fund
Our focus for the 2014 was to kick off the new Music Education Fund "Imagine It". This fund is in place to award youth an opportunity to explore music education. We believe all children should have the opportunity to find a musical outlet. Studies prove children thrive academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually when music is a part of their life.
Our committee members set the criteria, application process and award system. Each community we present we will donate 25% of the net proceeds to a chosen cause in that specific community.
Our first year we were able to award one year of music lessons to McClain Cassello as well as a Music Support Award.

Our Fourth Season
Art Fusion ~ Uniting Community Music & the Arts
...and a new permanent project MISSION:MILITARY
Our Fourth Year was very busy!
Fusing our efforts & benefiting all kinds of music, art, original acts, local high schools, alumni, community members, chorus, children's music groups & community theater groups. We collaborated with the Wallingford Public School High School Music Departments to present a Military themed community music program raising awareness for military organizations and presented Original Music & Artists in a series of events to raise funds and awareness for local community arts programs.
MISSION:MILITARY was created by default when a committee came together lead by Tina Taylor of TPromotions & Nashville Recording Artist & US Marine Stephen Cochran. A trip to Nashville with our name in lights, and several events, TV appearances and interviews brought awareness to the beginning of our ongoing mission to support military causes. 2015 we added Soldier's Angels to our list of supported military organizations.
We ended the year with the ability to reach out to the Wallingford Community Theater with financial support as well.
